Eating the profits?

Well that's why I can't work in a doughnut shop. I would eat them all! It's also a problem when your job is to dye yarn that appeal to your customers and then let it slip through your hands as the postal guy takes it off to its new home where it will be loved and cared for and created into a work of art.
This is one of those skeins I hate to let go. Every time I dye it my heart aches to package it up!

What's been happening?

Well, this spring has been insanely busy! With so many club members (we love you all!) new wholesale orders AND keeping the shop orders going out and the store stocked, there has been very little free time. I haven't gotten too much knitting done but I did do some shopping!

This is from another indie dyer, Gales Art. Wonderful to spin! I have actually knitted it up too. I will take photos of it after it has been blocked!

And here is some handspun I bought at the Sedalia Festival. It is destined to be longies for Parker!

I am working on adding some new yarns for the site, slowly but surely thanks to this! ;-)

Baby Bums Soaker and Longies Club Sign-ups!

Sign-ups are now open! Sign-ups will be open until May 10th or the club(s) are full whichever comes first. The first shipment will be the first of March and the first of every month for 6 months.
There are a couple of options to choose from, first being size (Toddler or Infant) and second being color theme, Boy, Girl or Unisex.
Infant includes 1 4 oz skein of the main colorway and 1 oz of a solid color contrast.
Toddler includes 2 4 oz skeins of the main colorway and 2 oz of a solid contrast.
Prices include shipping in the US and Canada.
With your first shipment you will receive a soaker and a longies pattern. The yardage and yarn will also work with the popular soaker and longies pattern.

Time flies...

Well it has been well over a month since the last blog. In the amount of time a lot has happened! B turned 2, P was born (well that was only 2 weeks ago) and the Baby Bums Soakers and Longies Club is well under way! :-)
The last month of the 3 month sock club is shipping out this week, which means it is time to open up a new one for May shipments just as promised. I am opening them up this evening and leaving them open until Sunday at Midnight or 50 subscribers whichever comes first. I have chosen to reduce the work load with the new baby and all the fiber shows coming up so it will be first come first serve!
Also due to the demand I am going to open up a new round of Baby Bums in the next few weeks to start in June. Same as the first round but I will only take 25 this time to keep the dye load manageable.
I just updated the website to add more colorways to the Supreme (the soakers and longies yarn) but all club colorways are exclusive to the club.
There are a couple of wholesale orders I am also working on. Remember, if you recommend us to your LYS remember to tell us when they order so you can get your $50 worth of free yarn!
